STEM Teaching in an Online Environment

Teachers of Kindergarten to grade 12  are increasingly being asked to develop their curriculum so that it can be achieved in a blended or online learning environment. In this session we will share techniques and steps to move your virtual STEM curriculum from emergency online teaching to purposeful virtual education. You will explore ways in which you can empower your students to adapt activities for their own at home situations, and will provide you with activities you take implement in your STEM curriculum right away.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this on-demand webinar, you will:

  1. reflect on the similarities in pedagogy as one shifts environment (face to face, blended, and online);
  2. appreciate the importance of co-constructing criteria as a stepping stone to move towards student empowerment; and
  3. reflect on the skill of co-constructing criteria and its applicability within your classroom.
