Strategies To Support Scientific Communication (Grade 9 - 12)

This session will introduce educators to the importance of teaching reading comprehension strategies to support students’ ability to navigate text-based science communication. Educators will develop an understanding that reading is a process comprising three equally important stages. Each stage of the reading process has specific actions that support the reader in making sense of textual content.
