Incorporating Literacy into STEM, Grade 7-12
In this course, you will learn a variety of strategies for incorporating literacy into STEM teaching and learning in the 7-12 classroom. Through the exploration of literature and learning strategies, you will discover how to connect student reading, research, comprehension and communication skills to strengthen the development of inquiry skills.
Course Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will:

- identify literacy connections that support student learning of STEM;
- utilize literature in a variety of mediums as a provocation for STEM learning; and,
- incorporate research, comprehension and communication skills to strengthen student inquiry skills.
