Investigating Science in the World Around You
This self-paced course will introduce you to the nine aspects of the Nature of Science deemed essential for the development of scientific literacy. Explore how this knowledge applies in the K-12 curriculum. Investigate many grade appropriate examples of how to bring the Nature of Science to life for your students.
Course Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will:

- Investigate the importance of critical thinking, curiosity, and questioning skills in scientific inquiry.
- Describe possible approaches to addressing selected aspects of the Nature of Science with your students.
