Syllabus Opening the Door: Explore How Science is Happening Around Us

Course Description

While most students feel that science is important to society, few see themselves in a science-related career. Such attitudes are developed early in life and have long-term implications for both students’ work and personal lives. In this session, we will explore strategies to help students recognize the importance of science in their lives and to help them develop more positive attitudes about the role of science in their lives.
