Reframing Goal Setting by Leveraging Strengths

How do we support students in creating goals and engaging in meaningful self-reflection? When we assist students in goal setting, we can help them stay motivated and reduce stress. Students can use reflection practices to improve their learning and address personal issues. In this course, you will discover skills and strategies that support measurable goals and objectives to help students stay on track and stay encouraged.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this course, you will:

    1. Identify skills and strategies to set SMART goals
    2. Describe ways to motivate students and the power of 'Yet'
    3. Discover examples of self-reflection and emotional check-ins you can use with your students
