Syllabus Exploring Tools to Work Through Frustrations

Course Description

Do you feel your students could benefit from strategies and tools to face challenges in and out of the classroom? Abstract issues and concepts come up in STEM and can often leave students feeling discouraged. Join us for a session to explore mindfulness strategies and other tools you can implement in your classroom to cope with any challenge they might tackle on a daily basis.

Course Outcomes

By the end of this session, you will:

  1. Identify strategies to promote tenacity in your classroom when feeling confused or frustrated. 
  2. Discuss activities you can use in your classroom to help your students work through different dilemmas and uncertainties.
